    The library is happy to display the handiwork of the Moorestown Area Quilters (MAQ) each year some of which demonstrate a response to a particular challenge. Come browse the collection throughout the library this month.

    Ellen Barnett, Alice Domineske, Sherry D McGrath, Angela Nocera and Irvane Spracklin make up the Circle of Life Mixed Media Artists group. Each of the local artists will be exhibiting many pieces of art inspired by women artists throughout history. Artwork is for sale. Please see notation cards next to each piece for artist contact information.

    Mount Laurel artist, Maria Nidia Branco, began painting by decorating and painting walls on residences in Africa. When she moved to Portugal in 1979, she learned techniques for painting porcelain, tiles and clay as well as oil and acrylics on canvas. The day she celebrated her 50th birthday, she had her first exhibition and has not stopped since. The numbered paintings on display are for sale.     SaraLee Pindar is an award-winning photographer whose work has been described by one juror as “going beyond photography.” Since she began showing her work six years ago, her photographs have been juried into 37 shows and received ten prizes.

    Mount Laurel resident, Joey G, studied film, worked as a photographer and created in polymer but was inspired to try her hand at painting after photographing flowers she found beautiful and unique. Her goal is to create works like herself; bold, colorful,
    a bit odd but amusing.

    Robert Lipartito
    Art Exhibit

    Sunday, July 1 – Friday, August 31

    Robert Lipartito has studied art in Philadelphia at the Fleisher Art Memorial and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He works in a wide variety of media including oils, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, etching, and lithography.

    His work has been shown at the Reading (PA) Public Museum, The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts (Reading), Artists’ House Gallery (Philadelphia), The Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Da Vinci Art Alliance (Philadelphia), the Perkins Center for the Arts (Moorestown), the Center for the Arts in Southern New Jersey (Marlton), Hopkins House Gallery (Haddon Township), Evearts Gallery (Haddonfield), and the offices of the Philadelphia Foundation.

    He has given solo exhibitions at the Fleisher Art Memorial, the Gallery at Moorestown Wealth Management Group, and at the Collingswood, NJ 2nd Saturday arts night. A native of Vineland, NJ, Mr. Lipartito is presently living in Haddonfield.
