Lego League
Lego League is a club for Lego enthusiasts, in Kindergarten up to Grade 6. During the school year, this group usually meets at least one Sunday a month at 2PM. Lego League is held in the Meeting Rooms, located at the front of the Library.
Participants are divided into groups based on grade level. Each month, they will construct around an assigned theme. Successful examples of the theme are shown before construction begins. After the allotted building time to over, groups showcase and discuss their creations before cleaning up as a team.
Some themes that have been used in the past include: Skyscrapers, Ancient Egypt, Farms, Superheroes, Vehicles, Underwater, Animals, and Medieval Times.
Registration for Lego League begins on the first day of each month. You may register online, in person, or by phone. Check our online calendar for upcoming dates.
